I was born in the early 1990's, and I hail from South Central Los Angeles. I went to elementary, middle, and high school on the Westside, but I never forgot my roots in South Central. I attended West Los Angeles College and Mount Saint Mary's University, where I pursued the subject I've always loved and thirsted for, receiving my Bachelors in English in 2015. I plan to return to school for my Masters, and dream to counsel students of higher learning.
During my years in college, I developed an infatuation with history, specifically American, Black, and Los Angeles history, and I regret to this day not double majoring in both English and history. In my spare time, I enjoy a good book, researching ongoing projects in Los Angeles, and strolling through the historic districts of Downtown Los Angeles, hoping to find what I call a "gem," or basically an old building I've yet to discover. |
